Over the past two decades, Sacramento has evolved from equestrian backwater into a significant competitive and recreational riding force. But, despite all this progress, local horse enthusiasts have found it difficult to find an equestrian center that combines the services they need with the warm, supportive and encouraging atmosphere they deserve. That is, until now. Tour Foxtail Farms and you’ll quickly detect a critical difference. You see, we’ve deliberately created a state-of-the-art facility specifically designed to optimize the experience for horse and rider alike.
Located on 23 acres of prime agricultural land with beautiful panoramic views of the sierras and open range land, Foxtail Farms features two outdoor arenas, a large indoor arena, five barns with box stalls, 16’X24’ covered paddocks, irrigated pastures and grass turnouts. Adding to the family fun, we also have a swimming pool and “The Fox Club,” a clubhouse reserved for the exclusive use of our riding families and their guests.
Foxtail Farms is 35 minutes from downtown Sacramento and 15 minutes from Elk Grove and Rancho Murieta.

From Sacramento: Hwy 99 south to Dillard Rd exit, 7 miles to Clay Station Road (right) 1 1/2 miles to driveway on the left.
From Stockton: Hwy 99 north to Dillard Rd exit, 7 miles to Clay Station Road (right) 1 1/2 miles to driveway on the left.
From Rancho Murieta: Jackson Highway north to Dillard Road (left) 6 miles to Clay Station Road (left) 1 1/2 miles to driveway on the left. *
